I've been coming to Johnny Frescoes for 14 years since I was in undergrad. It has remained consistently amazing. The crispy chicken pita with basil sauce is a thing of beauty, as is the poutine with chicken gravy. To think there was a time when I could eat both!
There are many reasons why this is the best burger joint in town! I love seeing the staff in the front of house making the food right in front of your eyes! Not only do they do a great job, they are all extremely friendly and accommodating! I've personally dealt with Johnny multiple times and he is one of the good ones! He's always making sure everything is perfect for the customer while also making sure his workers are taken care of! But the best part about Johnny's is the food! I can honestly say I've had more than my fair share of burgers from around the world, and it always comes back to my absolute number 1, which is the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. Coming from a self proclaimed burgervore, I dare you to try this one and I promise you will leave happy. - Darryl
Ordered crispy chicken pita, tasted amazing. A must try. Also tried buffalo chicken poutine, tasted too tangy it would be great if it was a little less tangy.
Great food, the weekly special came at a great price too!! I had the pulled pork poutine, with a bottle of coke and it was good. The gravy had good flavour, the jalapenos added great spice and the fries were good!! Very basic for seating, restrooms were great and overall, a good experience!!
Mama’s Poutine is absolutely amazing! The combination of tender meat, onions, mushrooms, and cheese topped with rich, flavorful gravy was perfection. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique twist on the classic poutine!
Some real bangers on the menu. A perfect example of why local matters. Everything about it hits that old diner feel while also having an extensive menu. Staff is always friendly, and whenever i have seen them make mistakes, they immediately remedy it no questions asked. This is how you develop continued patronage. Not every item is the best I've ever had, but nothing has evee been bad and some items like the picante steak grilled cheese are MUST tries
WOW! The flavours and fresh ingredients made this pita. Made fresh to order - I got the melted Swiss and ham pita. Outta this world delicious. Crispy yummy fries on the side. The pita is so large you could cut it in half and share it-but you will change your mind once you take that first bite. Fantastic place! Thanks team for those that are vegan, they have you covered here! Even gravy for the poutine - enjoy
Amazing food! Everything I have tried here has been delicious! Customer service is decent. Parking lot is a bit of a mess though, very tight and I often order online because of this. So far I have really enjoyed their poutines (especially pulled pork and buffalo chicken) and their pitas
